Thoughts on the game
-Kris Letang looked like a seasoned veteran before that first goal by Phoenix
-The Coyotes' first goal was hugely deflating and the Penguins couldn't seem to recover from it
-Games like this are why Mike Rupp were brought in. Unfortunately, he didn't do much to break up the Coyotes' cohesiveness
-How many penalties did the Penguins have this game? Like 100? It felt like they never really got off the penalty kill till they pulled Johnson
-Johnson looks to be a solid backup, by the way
-The Pensblog said it best, "If you don't have Malkins, Crosby, Gonchars, etc., this is how you win games."
-Ilya Bryzgalov is a beast. No doubt about it.
-All reports out of Phoenix suggest the fans are buying the (heavily discounted) tickets, so things may not be as bad as it seems.
-The Pens play Filthadelphia tonight. Time for a big-time win. GO PENS!
