The Ghost of Birds of Prey Past

Okay, that title sucked. But the news I just saw shouldn't suck as much. The Eagle is coming back!

Okay, I must admit that I'm a pretty diehard Eddie Belfour fan. That's my dirty little secret. And according to Belfour.com, Belfour is ready to try and do it in the NHL one more time!

I have to wonder if he's looking for any work, including as a backup, or if he wants to be a starter. I'd imagine he's willing to play backup somwhere where he might still get some starts, though I would think he would want to play for a decent team. So, LA is out, though I could see it being a good fit. I dont know, maybe somewhere like Ottawa. They're not too good either. Pittsburgh wouldn't ever play him. New York Rangers...? That's frighteningly concievable. Calgary and New Jersey are probably the same deal as Pittsburgh.

Blah, enough speculation! I'm just going to bask in the fact that I might be able to see my goaltending role model play in person.
