Preview: Blues at Penguins

The St. Louis Blues are invading the Mellon tonight at 7, in their first game against Jay McKee since buying him out.

Opponent Notes
As I stated, this is the Blues' first game against Jay McKee in the black and gold. It should be interesting to see if he blocks a million shots or not tonight, as one would expect he might know who prefers to shoot and where they like to shoot.

One of my favorite players, Ty Conklin, is now a member of the Blues (a decision that ended his outdoor game streak), though who would willingly go to Philadelphia, anyway? It's unsure at the moment whether Conklin (2-0-0, 1.50 GAA) or Chris Mason (1-2-1, 2.73 GAA) will be the Blues' starter, though one would expect Conklin to get the nod for the same reasons I mentioned Jay McKee will block shots better tonight. Oh yeah, and he has shutouts in 50% of his games played.

The Blues themselves have been a bit of an enigma this season, bouncing around .500, but putting on some great showings as well as some straight awful ones. Last game they played was a 5-0 shutout of the Ducks, but they lost just two games prior, to the Kings. It's hard to tell which team you are going to get from night to night.

Should be another fun game to watch, however don't expect the Blues to just give up.

Predictions
My Prediction: The Penguins win 4-2, the Blues are due for another loss.
Mr Mystic Says: Penguins lose in OT, 2-1

Records (Correct-Wrong(Correct Score))
TH: 4-3(0)
MM: 7-0(1)
