Penguins: 8-1-0

The Penguins made short work of the Blues, winning 5-1, and broke Mr. Mystic's streak of correct predictions.

The Game's Three Stars
1) Matt Cooke
2) Evgeny Malkin
3) Kris Letang

Thoughts on the game
-Like the millionth consecutive sellout for the Penguin. What great fans
-No fights per se. I think the Versus guys were disappointed
-Speaking of which, Versus brocasts continue to be very meh
-Versus commercials, however, continue to be great. I loved that superstition commercial
-If Pascal Dupuis would put in some extra practice getting the puck on net, he could be dangerous
-Craig Adams had some bad luck. Only Penguin to finish with a negative +/- (-1)
-This was a pretty unremarkable game
-Little known fact: Malkin had TWELVE shots. Insane
-The Blues should give Conklin the chance to take over the starting job. He's playing really well now
-Penguins were 50% on the PP, 100% on the PK...no complaints
-Finally, McKee blocked 4 shots in this one. 800K for a human brick wall? I'll take it!

Enemy of the (Penguins') State: Let's go with David Backes. He was annoying, and the closest thing to being an enemy of the state. That slashing with Crosby at the end of the second was pretty bush league-ish.
