Preview: Penguins at Hurricanes

In the first rematch between the last two teams in the eastern conference last season, The Penguins will finish their road trip tonight in North Carolina, at 7pm.

Opponent Notes
The Penguins usually perform pretty well against the Penguins in the regular season, Ray Whitney and Eric Staal, especially. However, they aren't exactly sitting pretty right now, as they are under .500 and 12th place in the east.

That said, Carolina has all the tools needed for a championship team, they are just missing one or two pieces of the puzzle. If Cam Ward can regain his consistencey, and the 'Canes can get some scoring from their top lines, this could prove to be a long night for the streaking Penguins.

However, reports suggest that Joni Pitkanen will not be playing tonight, as he is out with and injury, and Eric Staal is probable, but has not been practicing much lately. Jussi Jokinen, the 'Canes leading scorer at the moment, is also probable as he is dealing with an injury as well.

If the Penguins can focus and play their game, they should play strong from start to finish.

Predictions
My Prediction: Penguins win, 5-2
Mr Mystic Says: Penguins win in the Shootout, 4-3

Records (Correct-Wrong(Correct Score))
TH: 3-2(0)
MM: 5-0(1)
