Preview: Devils at Penguins

Round two against the Devils on the season, tonight at 7:30

Opponent Notes
As Marty Brodeur will once again be looking for his all time record tying shutout, the the Devils look to win their 9th straight road game. And they could have a better chance than they have tonight.

The Penguins will still be without all the scoring threats that led to the team being shut out for the last 8 periods. The Devils, who have been simply dominating recently, are led in scoring by the obvious pick, Zach Parise. With 19 points (only 3 on the PP), he is right in the thick of things, as is the norm.

Defensively, it's the same team that the Penguins saw last time, which may mean the game isn't worth watching. If they employ the trap tonight, look for someone else to review this one or expect a terrible recap from me.

Marty Brodeur continues to be his legendary self, and that isn't going to change without another injury. That said, if the Penguins can manage to get pushed into him a few times, they might be able to throw his game off and survive with a win.

Maybe.

Predictions
My Prediction: Penguins will lose, but Marty won't get his record tonight. 4-2
Mr Mystic Says: Penguins win, 4-2

Records (Correct-Wrong(Correct Score))
TH: 10-7(1)
MM: 10-6(1) (Missed last weeks prediction)
