Alex Ovechkin has done it again. In case you're dead to the world of hockey (in which case why are you reading this of all the hockey blogs out there), Alex Ovechkin has continued his running ways, except this time he hurt himself.
I'm not going to find a video, just search youtube for one, there's probably 100 of them out there.
Long story short, Ovechkin is quite possibly the most exciting player in the world right now. He is also a dirty players, taking runs at opponents on a regular basis, and going out of his way to make contact if he's going to miss. He murdered Tim Gleason's knee doing just that, and hurt himself in the process.
He was finally suspended for his runs on this hit, two games after he returns from the injury he imposed upon himself by taking the run.
That's right. He hurt himself making a dirty play. He is a jackass.
